1. Clarke was asked about the plane that flew out the bin Laden family
members and Saudi Arabia was mentioned in that. Also, Jamie Georlick (sp) brought up the redacted pages in the Senate report.

2. Clarke also said that the terrorist were Saudis. And most interestingly,

he said it like it was common knowledge and like the public knew it from the beginning.

That's not exactly true. It took places like DU to keep that fact alive, until it finally got through to the mainstream. Frankly, if it HAD been public knowledge from the beginning, I doubt that Bush could have gone into Iraq as easily as he did. The public would have blasted Congress, and Congress would have never given him the authority.

4. You don't bite the teat
The kid-glove treatment afforded Saudi Arabia is because of their oil power.

We suck at the earth's mammary through the wellhead teats strategically placed upon the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's land holdings.

We ain't about to bite those teats, they'd wean us away. But maybe the time has come to wean ourselves?

The Families of 9/11 might want to concert an attack on the Kingdom. Exposing the Kingdom seems like the best avenue to move forward and we will get weaned a bit in so doing, eh?
