Just canceled my Newsweek subscription!
The issue I received today had an article about how Kerry voted AGAINST the $87 billion for Iraq. But they failed to mention he was FOR a resolution allocating that $87 billion with the repeal of the Bush tax cut's, so we wouldn't go more into debt.

I thought Newsweek was OK - but such a huge error on the writer's part makes me skeptical if I am really reading something fair and balanced. And I told the woman that on the phone too. Plus, I got the first issue for free!

2. I don't subscribe to any of the news weeklies
I canceled my USN&WR 10 or 15 years ago about something. I can't remember what. They are all pretty worthless.

6. Nation good newsweek bad
Newsweek sucks the fat one and so does time. I have been getting the nation for 10 years and i love it, cover to cover some of the best magazine writing you will find.

7. Good choice
It's a great magazine. Once you subscribe, you have access to the full online edition with a really easy login (and their archive goes back forever.) I also like Washington Monthly and The American Prospect and Mother Jones. Trouble is, it's tough to read it all, there's so much good coverage. But The Nation is a must.
