Really good LTE in Small Town Newspaper

This is a letter to the editor that I happened across. It's in a local newspaper in the small western Pennsylvania town that I grew up in. The paper itself is really rather conservative but more and more I've been seeing letters to the edior like this in there. This one I thought was particularly good and I hope the person who wrote it won't mind my sharing it with DU.

Liberal has become a dirty word. I consider myself a flaming liberal.

I think letters like this are extremely important because it's a sign that small town America is begining to wake up.
