What's the name of the book that Clarke quoted from...saying Bush admitted
ignoring terrorism? And does anyone have the exact quotes Clarke used from the book?

3. I think it was actually Bob Woodward's book
And the quote (not exact, though) is Bush saying after Sept 11th something to the effect of 'he wasn't on point regarding terrorism'. There was more to that quote, as well.

5. Right!
That he "wasn't on point" & also that "he felt no sense of urgency."

7. I saw Woodward speak
last month in St. Louis and his take was that 9/11 was not an intelligence failure as much as a policy failure by Bush. It was an interesting evening listening to someone who has seen as many administrations as this man has.

6. Bob Woodward's book -
junior told Woodward that there was no urgency to fight terrorism before 911. In which Bob Woodward disagreed.

Taking this from memory, and we all know how that goes, 'eh?
