1. I agree
I just caught that story on my home page. I don't see how the guy can claim to be representing the old school Dems and I don't know where he gets off calling himself a Dem. Talk about DINO. I don't think he has one issue where he disagrees with Bush.

7. I elected this sh** weasel of a traitor.
He used to be a Democrat, honest. He created the HOPE scholarship. He introduced Bill Clinton at the 1992 convention. From the New York Times:

"As it turns out, there was a good reason Mr. Miller talked about his view of Mr. Kerry evolving over the last year or two. At Mr. Kerry's campaign headquarters, advisers took note of Mr. Miller's speech today and resurrected one of their own — Mr. Miller's introduction of the Democratic presidential candidate at a party dinner in Georgia back in 2001.

"My job tonight is an easy one: to present to you one of this nation's authentic heroes, one of this party's best-known and greatest leaders," Mr. Miller said at the time, according to excerpts provided by Mr. Kerry's campaign. "John has worked to strengthen our military, reform public education, boost the economy and protect the environment."

A lot can change after a few years of whoring oneself out to Fox News, wouldn't you say? Georgia Democrats wouldn't touch Zell with a 100-foot pole at this point- that's why he's retiring. After this year, you'll never hear from him again.

18. Does this administration have incriminating pictures on Zell?
I just don't see how a lifelong Democrat, suddenly becomes a fan of Dimson. Wonder if there isn't something very nasty that we don't know about....but Karl Rove does?

Shut up Zell.

I guess he threw in a buffet dinner and a keg of beer in on the deal.

He dares to make a shrub comparison to John Kennedy and Harry Truman.

Zel sir, you are an apostate.

6. He'll never get face time on the talking heads circuit
if he switches parties. Right now, he's a novelty...a Democrat who is openly supporting the Republicans. He won't give that up. Too bad there's not a way to boot him out.

12. My e-mail to Mr. Miller
Sir, you have become a caricature. Please do this country a great favor, step down now. Go to Young Harris, Ga. Live the rest of your days in peace. You are enabling the most monsterous man in the history of this great nation.

You were NOT elected, which is just one of the things that you have in common with the resident of the White House. You were appointed by a Democratic governer. You have brought shame to the party, to this country, and, in fact, to the good people of Georgia who fear what four more years of George Bush would mean for the future of the world.

You said tonight that there are "hundreds of thousands" DEmocrats who feel as you do. Only time will tell if you are correct. I would bet my last dollar that you are not.

I have voted for you in the past. It sickens me to think of having done that.

21. Mine is similar
Zell-

I guess unelected right wing nut cases have to stick together, but the only difference between "Democrats for Bush" and "Senator Zell Miller" is that one's an oxymoron the other's just a plain ol' moron.

14. I'm sorry but "big tent"...
does NOT include actively campaigning against the candidate of your own party.

You really don't like'm? Stand down and refuse to support him, but you DON'T go out and raise money/troops and work hard to elect a son-of-bitch like George Bush to the White House.

The Democratic party let go of those dinosaurs back in the 60s. The GOP can have'em all.

It seems to me that if you endorse the Repug presidential candidate, attack the Democratic candidate, and campaign for the Repug, you are a Repug. You know walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, ...

19. The blame rests squarelt with Daschle
When Miller announced his support for Chimp, Little Tommy had thge perfect opportunity to achieve three benefits for the party by giving Zell the boot:

1) Preventing the White House from labeling every one of its inane initiatives bipartisan just because Zell loudly supports them.

2) Putting other "dems" like Miller on notice that loyalty still counts for something, especially when the future of America is at stake.

3) Preventing what just happened.

Can you imagine what Johnson would have done to Zell?
