Roger Cressey...MSNBC analyst...
who attended the closed door hearings with Rice just told reporter who asked him what she said "Look...I'm not gonna get into this he-said-she-said argument". Reporter asked "Does that mean you're not going to answer the question"? Cressey responded "That's exactly what I mean".
I think it's time the commission quits farting around and subpoen's Rice. It's obvious she has something to tell and is being kept hushed up! I'd like to see Ben-Veniste have at her!

1. Gorlick on CSPAN this AM

She said that subpoena was not an option.
She said that they had a deadline date for the committee for this summer. A sobpoena would take much longer to obtain.

That sounded unreal to me but that is what I heard.

3. That's what I'm getting at...
she needs to be put under oath! What good is it interviewing her when she knows she can sit there and lie?

4. Cressey was right there on top of the action on 9-11
in the Situation Room with Clarke. Also like Clark, and a lot of others, Cressey left, disgusted with the WH's lack of a serious response to al Qaeda.
