I wasn't surprised by Condi's little temper tantrum, but I watched the exchange between King and Blitzer with my jaw dropping. They used almost the entire airtime to spread ugly and vicious smears of Clarke, even ones they KNOW are lies (they both know he's a Republican - never mentioned it).

So, why have RNC staffers stand there and smear, when they can get two CNN employees to do the dirty work by 'discussing' the smears without trying to refute them, even when they easily could do so.

It was a stunning example of why we need to be on the streets to get our media back from these huge corporations that benefit from Bush policies.
