The Commissioners are holding a LIVE news conference
and yet CNN breaks in to "update us on "other news".. I switched the channel when Contessa-what's-her-name" said..Kobe....

MSRNC of course is showing FILE FOOTAGE of the release of the captured soldiers from a years ago, and then some commentary from general what's-his-name..

They were just getting toi the part about the conflict of interest with Zelikow, and wham!!..no more coverage..anywhere..

Rest assured that we will see the "Sanitized-for-our-protection" snippets here and there ...in between the all important updates on Kobe & Michael & Laci..

4. kean on rice
"admin has shot itself in the foot by not having rice testify in public."

kean also calls her one of the most able people in govt.

must be trying to lure her in with a false sense of security.......

5. They went back to it--as you say, snippets
At the end, Kean said that the interviews with * and Cheney weren't yet scheduled because they were still hoping to get them to appear before all 10 members of the commission instead of just the 2 leaders (Kean and Hamilton). Given the intransigence about Condi appearing, I don't think there's any hope of the WH giving an inch (unless something happens to make giving in look like a good PR move...).

I think maybe we can catch the full press briefing at the end of C-span's rebroadcast of today's sessions? There were at least a few quite aggressive questions.
