Easter is on the 11th of April.
Think it will be a peaceful day?

I hope Italy has put itself on high alert. The Rome train station will not be an ideal travel destination.

It's time to by-pass the big cities and head for the smaller villages, such as those in Tuscany.

1. Wow. Good eye.
That does sound like an opportune time for these guys to strike. I hope not, but it's too late for that.

2. The terrorist events are becoming obvious
and rather predictable. Of course, we all hope for peace and the safety of everyone, but after Israel assassinated a beloved, aged, quadriplegic cleric leaving his version of a cathedral, it becomes necessary to make alternate travel arrangements.

5. That is a fabulous library you've got there
I bought the Clarke book today - a rare hardcover purchase for me. At the bookstore in Grand Central they told me they had sold 50 copies yesterday and 40 so far today (that was early afternoon). By which they meant it was HUGE.

4. I grew up in the Fifties and never really thought that

the world might end, despite the duck and cover drills, the filmstrips about The Bomb. Never really thought it through the Sixties, Seventies, Eighties, Nineties, though there were huge international crises, wars, dangeous times.

Bozo Bush* and his Boys have been in office three years and time after time after time I've found myself thinking the bastard is going to get us all blown up.

6. Oh no, and maybe the biggest of the Christian holy days - and 411

fallwell and robertson will have bush* shocking and awing the Palestinians, and probably Lebanon and Syria, to retalliate against this attack on Christianity itself. And if an attack occurs here? I don't even want to think about the actions this regime would take, trying to spin its way to a close enough election to steal.

:scared:
