once again, Jon Stewart nails the lying liars about Clarke,

1. you'd better be watching.....one of the very best eviscerations of
the junta he's done, ever

that's saying something

giving it to Condi, BIG TIME!

showing Ben-Veniste's recommendation to Armitage to GET CONDI to appear before the committee!

2. richard armitage as Rod Steiger, as Pontius Pilate
not one single "news" outlet has the balls to do what Stewart is doing right now

flipping back and forth between Scott and Condi, intercutting their spewage, making them look like absolute morans

9. the look on Armitage's face
was that something to behold? The guy was seething with anger, I loved it!
That pompous smile was no longer on his fat round head.

If Condi was to show up (which I doubt) Condi would crack she's the weakest link!

7. Stewart totally eviscerated Scotty and Condi
I love what he said when he showed them completing each other's sentences with the talking points of the day: "We blew out seven editing machines to make that."

8. He even got the "rollback/eliminate" script!!
I was tired of this script after I heard it three times -- now I can't remember how many times I've heard it, but it's probably been repeated enough that freepers will be saying it tomorrow to show just how smart they are.

10. can you say, "Kerry campaign?"
Edited on Tue Mar-23-04 11:36 PM by buycitgo
is that as good as the Bush vs. Bush thing they did?

I think so, as it cuts to the HEART of darkness, and how they've done everything to conceal the utter corruption that is destroying........

ok time to lighten up

14. It was simply *awesome*
Do not miss Stewart's bullseye segment on Clarke and the co-ordinated lock-step response by the White House crooks (Condi, McClellan, Rummy, Cheney).

Stewart shows how they just spew from their 'talking points' word for word, and NONE of them tried to refute the FACTS of what Clarke has said.

And he showed McClellan saying today that Bush* wasn't in the "Situation Room" at ALL on September 12? WTF?

And Cheney saying today that Clarke "wasn't in the loop" on the topic of terrorism? But Clarke was their point guy on terrorism, yet he wasn't in the loop? Stewart nailed that.

Brilliant segment.

15. REPEATS tomorrow at 10am EST on Comedy Central
My SO said that she has read that lots of politicians, journalists and press people watch the 10am repeat of Jon Stewart's show. He has quite a following. I think many of the above (politicians, journalists, press) have been on his show.

For what it's worth.

18. Yes, the edit between Condi & McClellan
literally finishing up each other's sentences was incredible.

Clearly they memorize that stuff word by word.
