it's almost pointless on this site. Faux News is all freeper all the time, so many more of them are going to call Clarke unpatriotic and disloyal. To them Clarke is disloyal because he called the emperor naked. Freepers can't deal with naked, they'd rather be blind.

There are over 70 THOUSAND votes posted that Clarke is a dirty rotten traitor unAmerican commie pinko rat bastard.

Actually, I'm over-simplifying. The wording of the poll is actually quite telling. The leading response is that Clarke is "disloyal" and "a disgrace." This is brilliantly illustrative of the neo-con mindset, and once again brings to my mind that haunting refrain, "Deutschland Deutschland Uber Alles." It's LOYALTY above everything. Anyone who is DISLOYAL to the fuhrer, no matter how heinous his crimes, is A DISGRACE. Truth does NOT trump loyalty for these people.

I have to keep reminding myself of that, every time we have one of these news reports or committee hearings or books come along that are supposed to ensure that "bush is toast." We get all excited because we think, "Look! There it is! The TRUTH! Can't you see the TRUTH?"

But for the loyalists, the response is, "Fuck the truth. And fuck you, you traitor, you're a disgrace."
