BUsh can't get away with this. Every utterance from BushCo gets him in deeper and deeper.

What steps did Bush take besides:

Cutting the FBI (John O'Neil) and WH expert Richard Clarke off the Bin-laden/Saudi trail?

Cutting funding for security by 70%?

Ignoring Hart-Rudman?

Ignoring Clinton and Berger's Al Qaeda warnings to Condi?

Those were great moves, weren't they? Shows he was on top of the problem.

stayed on a ship so he could be protected better against Al Qaeda's threats of attacks from the air.

And at some point, (after the August warnings, I believe) he had the airlines warned so they could better protect themselves (screw the people who patronize the airlines, the people who matter don't fly commercial.)
