6. they were inspirational, especially Kristen Breitweiser
Edited on Tue Mar-23-04 09:38 PM by buycitgo
is she married, or what?
oops.....really bad taste edit

she's always impressive, and should run for office, like the woman whose husband was shot by that maniac on the Long Island RR, IIRC

they expressed the CORE issue as well as anyone I've seen anywhere:

bottom line, we're NOT safe from the terrorists, they won't admit it, and are CLUELESS despite the gigantic sums of money being spent.

STOP the partisan BS and PROTECT us, GODDAMMIT!

that's basically what they said, only much more eloquently

7. Clarke's book seems to show him as a...
...partisan republican who has jumped ship for personal reasons, although what he is revealing about the ineptitudes of the Bush White House and cabinet are pure dynamite. Still, I like the idea that people like Paul O'Neil and Richard Clarke are turning on the Bush machine and revealing the truth about them as totally corrupt, incompetent and advocates of big oil around the world and the military and weapons manufacturers here in this country. I would not trust either one of them beyond that role. :spank:

As for other whistle blowers from the administration, I have a theory that Condi Rice is being held back from testifying at the 9-11 hearings because the Bush boys think she would blow the whole ball-game on them. What do the rest of you think? Condi does not strike me as the kind of martyr type who will lay under the bus for BushCO. :nopity:

Oh and one last observation. Between Colin Powell's dog and phony show at the U.N. just before the Iraq war and his testimony today, I think this man's legacy is now going to be that he was one of the biggest liars ever to have held appointed office in any administration. What a buck passer. Can you believe that he had the balls to sit there before the committee after being exposed for what he and the administration were privy to about al quieda, to then sit there and suggest that because Clarke didn't do anything about al quieda and the Clinton administration knew and didn't do anything to get Bin Laden, that it was not his job or the administrations job to go after al quieda terrorists from Jan 2001 until Sept 12 2001? What a horse's ass. :wtf:
