Poll question: When Do The rePublicans Start 'Jumping Ship' ???
As I recall, Tricky Dick did not resign until his own party informed him that they could not prevent an Impeachment vote in the House. In fact, some rePublicans said they would vote with the Dems TO Impeach. They saw the writing on the wall.

Now, considering the fact that the current crop of rePublicans might want to hold on to their seats in Congress more than they want to fight to the death (give up those seats) for the Boy Chimp...

When do you think we will start seeing signs of rePublican 'disloyalty' to the unelected warmonger???

2. Not.....Going.....To......Happen
Delusional lazy american public.
Continually filling coffers overflowing with cash.
The undying support of the religious right.

I'm beginning to think there will be no end in sight to this madness and that bush will be around for another 4 years.

7. Other - When Cheney/Rove tells them to
They are going to need someone to take the fall, may as well be Bush. He'll probably be much happier in a drunken stupor on the ranch anyway.

if the president's war is so right, then pay for it. they will not break until they see what is happening to this country's long term economy. i.e. when it hits them in the pocketbook.

12. mid-November
After realizing it's all over the bitterest will disappear into whites-only hamlets in Idaho and Alberta and retirement 'communities'. Ranting and raving and whining, excoriating Bush one moment and hero worshipping him the next while waiting for the Grim Reaper. As a matter of sanity their kids will walk away from All That.

The rightwing Christian masses are never going to admit they were wrong. But they can't really do much other than disintegrate into mostly politically muddled and disillusioned working and middle class moderates on the one hand and small, dying, isolationist/separatist cults on the other. No, they'll rarely make any sense, but their kids will grow up in the Modern world and be able to contribute to it.

A quarter are going to pretend they were never on board, never agreed with what was going on, claim they didn't know what was happening and covered by all the newspapers. Shocked, shocked! by what took place, indeed. Then they'll go back to cheating and gouging their fellow man and abusing the public good for private gain.

14. LOL, I Can Live With THAT !!!
Ah... you paint one pretty future!!!

Maybe we could get funding for some sort of Idaho 'Fundie Theme Park'!

Can ya see the possibilities of a 'Tom Delay Dunk Tank'? Complete with Alligators?

Could be a hit tourist attraction.
