Bush Camp made Tape that aired...

(on my little city local TV airwaves as news) as fact, but was PR. Anyone else seen this type of fake "news"?

I heard this was happening in the past few years, but never saw it personally (still haven't seen it on TV, just heard about it) until today when I read about it in my local paper. However, it was a topic for section B, not front page. Hah! Quote from article:

"WVUA-7 says it plans to be more careful when handling video news releases after the local television station aired a video that was prepared by the Bush administration and presented by the White House as a news item.

The video included public relations agent Karen Ryan posing as a reporter."

The news piece was a pro-Medicare Reform bill piece. The same one they lied about the cost of to members of Congress.

Fake news is not a "conspiracy theory" but reality NOW.

Why can't people wake up????????????

is my position. Think about it. That was in the 1980's. Not in the New world of media we have now which is conglomeratization. Ok. I made up that word but I'm disturbed that this is acknowledged. I think, no, I know there is much more in our media that is PPPPPPPPPPPRRRRRRRRRR.

Not only the "reality" shows, but news is now officially taken over.
