was going to release the book in April...never mentioning that the White House held it up since December.

The boy is in way over his head now that the reporter attack dogs are in gear. Reporters are not all Helen's but they are hitting him with it.

This reminds me of the Watergate meltdown. He is trying his best to lie but you can tell in his eyes he is scared to death.

He is praying that he can find some help on his paper--but no luck Scottie.
Says President is not focused on Clarke, he has so many other things to do.
Now rep. asking why did Cheney say Clarke was "out of the loop?"
If you read the book she said.. Clarke did not say he was out of the loop at the time that Cheney was speaking of.

That's because he was "Out of Cheney's Loop" Cheney and his shadow Terrorist Unit folks were not asking anyone to tell them anything.

Rumsfeld asked for and received plans to invade Iraq.

SM: his revisionist history. Bush's decision at Camp David was to go after AQ in Afghanistan. Iraq continued to shoot at our pilots daily.

Invasion of Iraq, decision came at a later time. Clarke said Iraq was threat, said to Dr. Rice.

Rep: Oct of 2001 was when presidiential directive was signed.
