A Bad Week For bush*
With the Clarke and Blix books, the bombing and loss of of Spain as an ally, the Polish President admitting they were "taken for a ride" and Korea deciding it's own destiny in Iraq, the widows of 911 attacking the use of a body in an TV commercial and the revelation of the withholding of the true cost of the Medicare Bill bush has had a bad week, my advice...start drinking heavily, play the sympathy card.

1. My advice:
Resign, and admit that Al Gore is the rightful, capital "P" President

3. I think Bush has already adopted part of your plan ....
the heavy drinking part, anyway. Something about him is different recently, like his complexion, and both I and my wife independently came to the suspicion that he has fallen off the wagon.

5. I don't think he ever got on the wagon
I'm betting he never really stopped drinking. Cut back maybe, but not stopped. I'm also betting that his frequent vacations are drunken binges that his handlers let him have as a reward for being relatively sober for important speeches.

9. Extremely important
No more relaxations or free rides or coasting. Keep the pressure on. Death and mayhem(others) mean noting to him but personal attacks crush him. The Dems should at the very least have kept pressure on him, kept engaged and active or this illusion of a president would never have happened in the first place.

I don't know where this good manners attitude came from. Certainly Kerry can(and will) take the heat. Bush can't even perform well when things are going his way.

He will crack or go as invisible as Jed.

4. couple of "observations" about "terra" war and Iraq
might just be that I have my "tinfoilhat: on too tight...

Iraq: One year after the invasion -- bush* has spun the justifications every which way --- but people aren't buying it anymore
Doesn't this say something about the credibility of invading in the first place?

terra: that bush* has used the terra-threat as a baseball bat to frighten people into backing him is a no brainer. Yet, with the recent attack in Madrid the stock market took a dive - if people really do have confidence in bush*'s ability to fight terra - then why do stock markets take a dive? If the confidence were really there, then shouldn't there be little to no drop in the markets on news of terra-attacks?

6. The terra, dear radfringe, lies in the hearts of the weapons makers
Who see their fortunes falling if people (ie, the Spanish) wake up to gubmint tricks. Likewise, the awful prospect of Peace breaking out scareth those who invest in the weapons makers.

Verily, I say unto you, he that soweth the wind shall likewise break it!

10. And: illegal campaign items from Myanmar; Rummy getting caught
mealy-mouthed in lies; Condi falling apart on TV, barely able to remember HER lies and keep them all straight; etc etc etc...
It will never end with these people. Their sleaze machines are running full-tilt-boogie 24/7.
It's time for them to go!
