The propaganda hook: The "News" Anchor
Have you noticed how these news divisions are always elevating news anchors above the story. It's like they hold these people (i.e. Rather, Jennings, Brokaw, Brown, Matthews, etc., etc.) up as being something greater than the news they are reporting. Like they are rock stars or something.

Could it be that doing this instills a perceived "credibility" in the eyes of the ignorant viewing public, so that any official propaganda going out over the airwaves is swallowed as the gospel truth and very little actual truth gets revealed?

When damaging stories are aired (like tonights 60 mins piece), its a day late and dollar short.

For the truth in REAL TIME, listen to Democracy Now with Amy Goodman.
