God I miss Bill Clinton. We need him back now!
He brought this country together and his fine staff was the best we ever had. How can we bring back the good days of Clinton rule? Is there any chance Kerry will pick Hillary for VP? That would be almost as good as having our saviour Bill back in office.

1. Strong Words
I wouldn't exactly call the Big Dog our "Saviour", but there's no denying the boy was good.

I don't think he will ever serve another day in public office, but I sure would like to see him as Secretary of State.

2. I love Hillary too but
choosing her as a running mate would be a disaster for the party. She'd bring out every last right-wing crackpot. They would all crawl out from under their respective rocks just to smear her. Now is not the time to take a chance with the RW mud-throwing machine.

3. I agree
I saw an article yesterday where she said she wasn't interested in VP.

4. I agree.
Hillary's not as popular as some on DU here believe since the right is all but begging for her nomination to save Bush.

I don't like Clinton that much anyway. He collaborated far too often with the republican congress.

5. I love Bill & Hillary too, but....
I hate to say it, this isn't the year for Hillary to be picked as VP. I'm hoping for a future presidential run for her, though.

7. Great satire.....
Many of us admire at least some of what Clinton did, but nobody here regards him as "our saviour".

Hilary needs to stay in the Senate a while longer. Of course, her candidacy is a big wet dream for certain nutso rightists. Guess they like to be dominated by strong women!
