Riots in Montenegro
Edited on Fri Mar-19-04 10:17 PM by HEyHEY
I'm not as informed as I should be. I know lots about the past conflicts. But all I know from this new one is what I heard from a friend of mine with a brother who was peacekeeping over there. He said as soon as the UN pulled out it would light up again....guess that's what happened..

AS I said I'm ignorant right now, anyone care to discuss/inform me?

1. Montenegro is predominantly Serbian, I believe
and there is an Albanian minority. Like Kosovo, it could get ugly.

4. You what?
There's been nothing about this in any of the Serbian news sites... was this today?

I know Montenegro has an Albanian minority, but there haven't been any problems there for a while. Wasn't aware they had peacekeepers in either... ignorance is not your unique perrogative... :)

7. did you mean this story?
31 die in Kosovo
PRISTINA, Serbia-Montenegro -- Ethnic Albanians torched Serbs' homes and churches yesterday as Kosovo was convulsed by a second day of rioting.

Can't find anything else there... if so there are some threads in LBN you might want to check out.
