As the world splits in two.....
As bombs continue to rain down on Baghdad and as our friends continue to turn their backs on us, many continue to pat each other on the back and assure each other about how everything is so much better now than it was under Bill Clinton and those "weak on defense" Democrats. As people have lost their jobs and hide in the shadows of temporary employment an street jobs, they pat themselves on the back and repeat the rosy claims of the Administration they put into power.

As the deficits rise to unheard of record levels, they assure us that it is really no that important, relative to the GDP. As if the GDP had anything whatsoever to do with the amount of taxes that must be collected to pay for what we wish to spend as a nation. As if we could at any time we wish simply tap into the GDP and pay off all the debts that they are now running up like a bar tab on a Saturday night. As if people would say, yes, go ahead and raise my taxes.

As the world disintegrates into turmoil, the false voices of partisanship continue to tell us that black is white, that war is peace, that recession is recovery, etc, etc.... How much longer can we survive these destructive actions disguised as something beneficial to ourselves and the world?
