Let us not forget Valerie Plame
I know its hard to keep track of all the bush scandals without a score card but lets ensure they all are chatted about frequently. The investigation is going slow, but going forward and I see justice for her down the road. But please consider:

george bush said he wanted his staff to cooperate. The crime was committed eight months ago. If his staff had cooperated, the criminal would have been identified and we could all move on. But because of his lack of leadership skills and the apparent lack of cooperation by his staff, we are still pondering the question, who outed a CIA operative from the white house. In other words, who committed a felony?

Maybe we can ask our conservative acquaintances if this is a stellar example of bush's leadership.

1. Of all the despicable thing this misadministration has done
the Plame outing was the worst. I am afraid Plame is only the tip of the iceberg though.

2. Not sure who posted this before...
But, it took the Bush administration 74 days to announce an investigation into the Plame leak, but only 1 day to announce an investigation into Paul O'Neill and his use of possible classified documents (which he requested from the WH...)

3. Plame Affair
Ambassador Wilson (Plame husband) was here at UCF a few months ago. He did a credible job. There was a very good article in "Vanity Fair" about them a few months ago. Someone needs to loose their job over this.

4. PS-To last of my post
Plame's career at the CIA (at least overseas) is essentially over because of this.

9. and all the work her group did to track dangerous materials is outed too
That certainly did not make the world a safer place. It did make things easier for people in the business of selling/buying dangerous materials.

I try to bring up Ms Plame and the damage done to her and world security by petty, arrogant, short sighted bastards in the WH and Executive Office Building every chance I get.

Keep hammering on this story. Bring it up each time anyone has the gall to question Dem patriotism and/or conviction to fighting terrorism.

bush*/cheney malAdminsitration has done more to destabilize world peace and security than any other terrorist organization. And they are a terrorist organization. How many innocents in Iraq have died? How many in other nations where they support/enable malleable despots?

5. Speaking of conservatives and this story,
Edited on Fri Mar-19-04 11:23 AM by secondtermdenier
this old article makes Bush's aloofness regarding the story and investigation seem pretty terrible to the casual reader http://www.theamericancause.org/patnovakleak.htm . Note the phrases "ferreted out and fired by the President himself" and "less than an hour". Pretty damning, especially coming from a Reaganite. The phrase "investigate the Presidential cover up" seems to be the one missing in the article, though I admit that's pretty heavy. Has Bush been "the boy in the bubble" all this time? Absolutely no knowledge about any of this stuff or its wake? No real effort to appear concerned or helpful? Seems pretty weird that the media has been giving him a pass on this. Seems like many conservative Tom Clancy types would wonder "how strong on defense is the dude" if he lets this national security breach and scandal drag out like this?

6. *THIS* should be on the news 24/7
The actions of the WH in this affair directly contradict their stated goals to eradicate terrorism and keep Americans safe from WMD.

8. Boy, isn't that the truth?
And I thought he was hard to look at before, but now I look at him, and I see a a me-first, unpatriotic hack.

10. I can't believe he's still on CNN
It's outrageous. He's nothing but a tool of the BFEE.

11. One sure way to get the traitors out of the White House
Two senior officials in the Bush administration revealed the identity of a CIA agent. Two senior official traitors continue to sully the White House with their presence. Bush is not even trying to find them.

I guess that means that the only sure way to get the trash out of the White House is to kick out the whole bunch.

Vote Bush and two traitors keep their jobs.
