CSPAN Wednesday morning - Sen. Coryn
Lying again and defending his "glorious" leader. Said that decision to go to war wasn't based on one piece of information in response to caller who said Bush was "misinformed" about claims.

He also said five to ten years from now, the Iraqi people will be thanking us for "bringing them the blessings of liberty." <-- I guess that just means those that we haven't killed or haven't died for lack of food and water.

1. Not a stretch to say that....
if it was President Clinton who lied to get us into war this Senator would be calling for impeachment and the conviction of Clinton and we would most likely now be in a constitutional crisis.

3. You Bet They'd Wanna Impeach Clinton
And clear channel would be organizing the rallies in support of impeachment.

Hey, there's an idea.. we should organize rallies to impeach AWOL. Let the world see that americans don't support the chimp in charge.

4. another repub idiot
This was the unknown candidate for Phil Gramm's seat. He ran
against the charismatic, article Ron Kirk, the very successful
former mayor of Dallas. I really don't understand how Cornyn
defeated Kirk (sarcasm here); no one knew who Cornyn was!
That alone made me think the Texas election was rigged.

5. We in Texas know Cornyn all too well.
You're right; he has the charisma of a houseplant. But, he is willing to have a hand jammed up his ass and be a puppet for this administration, so he got elected. Also, there are large portions of the state's population who'd never vote for a black man for anything, much less US Senator.
