Most entertaining RW conspiracy theory

Sensational Memos Lift the Lid on News Control

By Henry Makow Ph.D.
August 03, 2003

"It seems that guerrilla warfare is a real thing. Too much looting, assaulting Iraqi women, too much Muslim-bashing. No discipline in the US forces and the commanders have a hard time in controlling their men. Protestors are to be shown to be "die-hard Baathist supporters of the evil Saddam" and show pictures of a "commando" camp with pictures of Saddam and anti-US slogans." (June 12)

Since April, The Barnes Review News web site (www.tbrnews.org) has posted memos like this from an executive at a major TV network to selected News Division staff. ...

</snip>

Now Henry Makow is a minor-league Lyndon LaRouche - just plausible
enough to be great entertainment, as long as you don't start thinking any
of it is really true.

The site purports to have copies of the "master script" for all media
control - the script that everyone must follow. But this site has a
leaked copy. (And the guy is an executive who has been leaking
for a while and is not already Baxter-ized/Kelly-ized. Right. )

Can someone tell me if this a pure fantasy or if any other sites are
carrying this, hopelfully someone who does not use this site as its
primary source?

Also, anybody know anything about this TBR organization?

thanks, and consume paranoia responsibly :tinfoilhat:

1. More by the same author, including "the conspiracy against heterosexuals"
http://www.savethemales.ca/

He invented the board game Scruples, too, and his Ph.D. is in English Literature, fwiw

3. Thanks for your background info, but what about this particular theory?
Thanks, WRH sent me to SaveTheMales, and I knew that
Makow invented scruples, which is why I said he is just
credible enough to be entertaining. He is an independently
wealthy conspiracy nut.

But, can you help out? Is there the slightest bit of truth to
this nonsense? Or just another right winger off his meds?

thinking minds want to know

2. Plausible and ties to real media output - so paranoid - or observant
A "fun" read if it was not so true.

7. I'd have to go with Don Luskin's nonsense from the National Review
Or at least that's what it very well seems to be.

He has a "Krugman Truth Sqaud" where he announces the lies and distortions of professor Paul Krugman whose columns appear in The New York Times. I've visited a few different places, many of which seem to treat Luskin as a clown.

This is one of Luskin attacking one of Krugman's columns:

8. Am I slow - this is a rightwing site which says the media aren't liberal
Isn't that man bites dog, even if it is paranoia?

Also, the site with the memo is "The Barnes Review",
not Henry Whacko.

Anybody know anything about The Barnes Review?

Sorry, must have been asleep last night.
