DU THIS POLL ~ MSNBC ~ Will changing presidents HURT the war on terror?
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3096434/

It is my answer that regime change in the US can only HELP the war on terror.

Putting an end to the "new roman empire".
Relieving world wide nervousness about unilateral bullyism
Removing the crazy religous fundies from our top offices
Having a prez that focuses on security at home instead of vendettas and personal enrichment.

All of these things can only IMPROVE our ability to fight terrorism.

1. INFUCKING CREDIBLE QUESTION
There is no WAR ON TERROR being raised by george bush MSNBC. If you were nothing more than a stenographic service for rove you would know that. Reporting, investigating, digging deep for answers. All lost arts in American "Journalism."

2. What a dumb question!
Poorly worded. Ill-thought out. Maybe the war on terror needs to be hurt, for one thing, because maybe it's the wrong approach.

and I highly doubt that Bush ever even READ a book about terrorism. We all know he wants all his reports written on ONE page.

19. I would have to answer "yes"--but please hold your fire
The question presupposes that the "War on Terror" is something we believe is a good thing...which I don't.

I don't buy into the whole "war on a nebulous enemy" concept. I don't Bush's cowboy antics; I never did and I never will.

Now, if you're asking me if the "war on the nebulous enemy" concept would be undermined if we changed presidents, I would have to answer "yes," because I don't think the presumptive candidate could possibly be so boneheaded as to prosecute this so-called "war" in the same manner.

And if you ask me if a change in presidents will make the world a safer place, I would answer a resounding, YES!

We need to keep screaming WHO'S WATCH DID 9/11 OCCUR ON? BUSH DOESN'T FIGHT TERRORISM, HE LETS IT HAPPEN! HE BREEDS IT!

Jesus CHRIST we're facing an uphill battle here. The media whores, after a month or so of questioning Bush, are back in full sucky sucky mode. Maybe Kerry is turning out to be more principled than they realized, and less of a PNAC Skull & Bones boy.

26. my email to MSNBC
what an awful question ... talk about a bias !!!

btw, the current poll is No: 51, Yes: 49 ...

here's the email i sent them:

You really should be more careful when you ask these poll questions.

President Bush has increased the risk of terrorism by antagonizing our allies, by lying about the reasons for invading Iraq and by catering to oppressive regimes in the Middle East, specifically Saudi Arabia, to support corporate interests in the oil industry.

The "real" answer to your question is that changing Presidents would not only not hurt the war on terror; it would make us far safer.

But you didn't provide that as a choice, now did you?

Voting for Kerry or Bush will not result in great changes in our forieng policy....maybe kinder, gentler from Kerry and being nicer to countries like France and Germany. But our foreign policy will not fundamentally change.

Changing Presidents hurting the war on terror?? Given that we are losing the war, it makes sense TO change presidents!!--note Madrid, note flames shooting as we speak in downtown Baghadad and you ask a silly question like this?? Shame on you.

by the way 52-48 No's are winning.

ended. The only way to stop terrorism is to stop invading countries and overthrowing their governments for our corporate gain. Stop hurting people who are doing nothing to you and there will be no terrorists.
