Poll question: Why do the investigating committee have to resort to subpoenas? |
|
the investigations into 9-11 and the WMDs are consistently running into road blocks by bush* inc.
seems the only way to get info out of the White House is to threaten them with supoenas
this appears to contradict the "open and honest" campaign spin by bush* in 2000 campaign
so why do you think these investigations have to resort to supoenas

1. they CLEARLY have lots to hide |
|
Condi refuses to testify under oath
Bush himself will meet only with the chair and vice chair of the commission
Bush wanted to limit the meeting to one hour (barely enough time to say hello)
Bush and Cheney refuse to testify under oath.
If they are innocent, what are they afraid of?
There is something really really nasty that they are hiding, and if they are forced to testify under oath they will be in severe trouble
