Why does it always seem to come down to money with repubs?
I had a short brief conversation with my bro in law.He was really sarcastic and condesending.Every other word was YOU people.Like who are "you people" I asked. He spat out LIBERALS !! Well the conversation downspiraled from there .I pointed out that in all actuality im a progressive but lets not split hairs. He was bitching about paying for *his words* poor people to go to college. He bitched about his money feeding clothing etc poor people.Well to give a very brief family history. He went to college. As my husband worked in the family owned gas station to keep his hawkish ass out of vietnam Hubby got called up due to low draft number.
Dan worked 13 hour shifts as did his younger brother and father.Just to keep the ingrate in college.
I seriously cant understand the mentality where its all about money.
Is there no greater good?No moral cause that can seperate the fat stacks from the grubbers?
This like so pisses me off.He preached to me if people cant afford to go to college then oh well.HE COULDNT afford it on HIS own.
He went at the cost of others too.
I just wish repukes could stop whining about paying taxes.
You cant escape that or death.
by the way .Another thing that really pisses me off.Well more worries me then pisses me off actually .Why does my brother and law
willfully feed himself a diet of hate (rush ,savage etc )?
Is it he has such hateful feelings he knows are wrong but can feel better about cause rush thinks so too?
*official end of rant*

1. Show them a pie chart of what social spending actually is in this country.

They will still say it is too much, but at least they will know that they are complete morons.

Of course they never have a problem paying for prisons instead of schools.

They are basically just hateful people who need an absolute solution to every problem. They cannot handle complicated problems. They want an easy, spoon fed, simple solution to every problem which is why they adore Bush.

3. Greed?
Many Republicans have the mindset of "me, me, me" and never anybody else.

4. In a way, I feel sorry for people whose only concern...
is saving themselves money, and keeping money out of the pockets of other people. I would hate to have a life so bleak, and a mind so uninteresting, that when I thought about casting a vote in an election, all I thought about was which candidate would bring me the lowest taxes. And I know a number of people for whom this is the only reason to go to the polls on election day --

5. Well, eventually, they all die too
Doctor: "I'm sorry."
Rich Jerk: "But I have so much money!"

We are all equal.
