6. I doubt it
I personally don't care what Hollywood actors and actresses think. Infact, whenever I hear one bloviating about politics I turn them off.

I tend to think most Americans consider Hollywood actors and actresses completely out of touch, and believe they represent some mystical elitist class. I just think they usually sound stupid when they talk politics.

Americans, in fact people everwhere, are fascinated by what the "stars" do and say, but I don't think they much respect their political views. These Hollywood types do us as much harm as they do good. After the Gigli superflop, I'm surprised Affleck dares show his face on Larry King or anywhere else.

10. Same here.
I don't know why, I just can't connect with them. I'd rather have Larry King interview the American worker.

12. Exactly
"I'd rather have Larry King interview the American worker."

And I'd rather listen to the American worker.

13. I'd rather have American workers take over the show, & throw King off.
He is a worthless POS. :puke:

14. Best suggestion yet...
Why Larry King is still on the air is mystery to me.

CNN has 1 hour of Primetime which could be filled with something worthwhile - like for example some real investigative reporting, and instead we get this numbskull Larry King talking about Anna Nicole Smith's diet and other worthless crap.

7. Uh-oh more liberal hollywood types
who shouldn't be making political statements... except for Toby Keith, Dennis Miller and Pat Sajak.

Seriously, it seems that all the cool people in the entertainment industry are on our side. If most entertaining person the right can offer is Dennis Miller, no wonder Republicans never laugh at anything.

9. He comes from a blue collar family
Ben and Matt Damon were back in Cambridge a few years back to speak at a strike at Harvard. I think Ben's dad was a janitor there for years.

21. Ben Affleck has been extremely
supportive of the democrats and I love it when the "Hollywood" types speak out. Damn, Arnold, the Republican, can become Governor - but God forbid if Sean Penn writes a column about Iraq. We need everyone to help!
