5. lol
Probably not. They are terrified that the Popular party will be voted out. I have a feeling that's going to happen.

3. Not surprised here
What makes me sick, is how the War drums are being banged already. Suggestions that this justifies the Iraq invasion. Preposterous.

6. What makes me sick
is they still try to justify the war on Iraq as a link to alqueada

On MTP today rice said the threat from Iraq was greater than the threat from North Korea...

Let's see, Iraq had no WMDs, Korea does...

8. More campaign fodder for John Kerry...
Bush's campaign ads claim that we are safer from terrorists, thanks to this administration. By fragmenting the terrorists in Afghanistan and going after that red herring in Iraq, the terrorists can plan attacks such as the recent one in Spain, and who knows where else in the future.

Already, I'm reading where the British Prime Minister is keeping his distance from Bush now, because of everything that's developed in Iraq and overwhelming public sentiment against Bush among the Brits.

10. Man-what a strategic mess
our military strapped-we create a cause celeb in Iraq war (not to mention the horrible moral consequences)-by spending our blood and treasure in Iraq I don't know how Rice can say we are stronger-I see us in a very weak position-also don't forget Eisenhower's warning that "a bankrupt nation is a defenseless nation". Cutting taxes in wartime-DUH! I have some Brit friends who were really hoping this was ETA because they know if alqueda did this the attacks are planned in diverse Europe. How do we get out of this mess when President Kerry is sworn in? Scary stuff-thanks to AWOL.
