March 20-- marching is almost as important as voting!
Edited on Sun Mar-14-04 12:08 PM by mike_c
DU'ers-- this is my appeal to all who can attend a March 20 antiwar demonstration to do so, or to simply initiate your own. Attend one of the major city marches all over the country if you can, or a local event otherwise. If there's no demonstration in your area and you can't get to one of the city marches, stand in front of your county courthouse with a protest sign or just hang a sign in your front yard. Start a freeway blog. Do something to send a message to Washington and the world.

This is NOT about International ANSWER's politics, or about the politics of any of the other affiliate sponsors. It's about telling the Bush* administration and the Democratic party machine alike that there is strong and committed opposition to the invasion and occupation of Iraq. It's about showing the rest of the world that Americans are not all arrogant neocon fascists. It's about demonstrating that we were not fooled last March and will not be silenced now.

Please join us in the streets March 20 and be counted.

Here's ANSWER's link if you need more information about a march near you: http://www.internationalanswer.org/
