When will there be a movie made about 9/11?
It's going to have to happen someday. Every other major event in US history has been cinematized. 9/11 will be no different, nor should it be. Of course, there is a time and a place for everything. Right now the American public is probably not adult enough to see a movie about 9/11, but movies remain an important way by which people learn about the past, perhaps not entirely accurately, but many people would otherwise not learn about major historical events at all were it not for movies. I'm not talking about some cheapo made for TV job, I'm talking about a real epic movie. When do you think this will happen? When should it happen?

3. Weren't they going to make a sitcom about it?
I guess that they scrapped that idea as being tasteless.

No different then Bush's commericals.

5. I can just see it now...
They'll have a dramatic scene where AWOL leaps from Air Force One onto the plane over Pennsylvania, breaks into the cockpit, mutters "let's roll", and does battle with the freedom-hatin' turrists onboard. After killing them all with his bare hands, Chimpy McSmirkeyShit prays to Jesus and has all the passengers raptured into Heaven, right before he jumps out of the plane on it's door, "air surfing" safely to the ground as the plane crashes in a firey explosion behind him.

7. But don't you find the complete lack of interest by the industry to
frame their own documentary, strange? I mean, no one is capitalizing on a story that needs to be frame by TV.....why hasn't ABC/CBS/NBC competed with each other to do a documentary on "what happened"?

Is it, because the total story has yet to be told? Or would it necesarily mean a critical look at how this administration and military responded that day?

8. Hopefully some Democrat will make an "anti DC 9 /11"
that showed Bill Clinton actually BEATING * to New York.

Bet anyone loonies to donuts that the victims' families would definitely object to one showing things like the jumpers, people going up in flames like human torches, not to mention showing Manhattan looking like a flipping war zone after all the body parts had rained down.
