Proof that Bush is E-V-I-L!
Here is some creepy proof that Bush is evil. :P

"The year 1999, and seven months.
From the sky shall come the Great King of Terror.
He will bring back to life the King of Mongols.
Before and after Mars reign happily."

-Nostradamus, the Prophet

Alright check this out!

In the first line it says: "The year 1999, and seven months." Seven months puts his prediction in July, but that is incorrect. During Nostradamus' time they were using the Julian calendar. After his death we started using the Gregorian calendar. This places this prediction in August (8th month instead of 7th). On August the 11th, 1999 we had the last solar eclipse of the Millennium. In Nostradamus time such events were normally considered a "bad omen".

Then we have the second line: "From the sky shall come the Great King of Terror." From the sky is referring to the eclipse (the bad luck omen). "...shall come the Great King of Terror." Who else can be a "Great King of Terror" than George W. Bush, who was "elected" just a little over a year after the omen? Also it is said that Bush can trace his lineage back to English Kings. This would technically make him a "King", and President is a sort of king as well. (Not to mention Kings aren't elected... and neither was Bush.)

The third line: "He will bring back to life the King of Mongols." Well this line is a bit harder... but I think it refers to North Korea, and Kim Jong-il who can certainly be referred to as a "King". Mongolia was also the area near North Korea. Also the King of Mongols could also refer (and most likely does) to Genghis Khan. Seeing as how coming back from the dead isn't an option for dear Mr. Khan, one might surmise that a new King would arise (Kim Jong for example) to take his place.

The forth and final line: "Before and after Mars reign happily." Now it is important to know what Mars is referring to. Mars is the Roman God of War. His reign would be considered over wars. Him reining before (which would be at present as in -- now) is true. We had Afghanistan and Iraq. (Afghanistan over almost 2 years later after the eclipse which foretold the events to come.) As for the after... well that may be pointing to a war with the "King of Mongols" which would point to North Korea.

So what we have here is a battle between the "King of Terror" (the majority of the world fears America and thus it's ruler), and the "King of Mongols" which is dead so a new one will rise to take his place.

An interesting note: the first line may have a double meaning. Nostradamus may have been predicting 9/11 and the rise of the King of Terror (Bush). You see in French (Nostradamus was French) "seven" means "Sept". On August 11, 1999 we had the omen. In 2000 the King of Terror came to power. On September 11, 2001 we had 9/11 which was what triggered the reign of Mars.

Muhahaha! Just something for all you folks to chew on. Interesting, isn't it?

2. *laugh*
I guess the question is this: How do you get all that from watching a Science Channel show about Eclipses?

They mentioned the "King of Terror" bit, and Bush popped into my mind and I googled about it. Then I simply connected the dots. :P

4. I've read a slightly different text...
"In the year 1999 and seven months,

From the skies shall come an alarmingly powerful king,

To raise again the great King of the Jacquerie,

Before and after, Mars shall reign at will."

Here, they use the word Jacquerie instead of Mongols. Jacquerie has been defined as: The name given to a revolt of French peasants against the nobles in 1358, the leader assuming the contemptuous title, Jacques Bonhomme, given by the nobles to the peasantry. Hence, any revolt of peasants. Perhaps a reference to Jacques Chirac? Maybe a reference to Jacquard, creator of the Jacquard Loom, I mean after all, * has woven quite a tangled web hasn't he? Or maybe, just maybe I'm reading too much into this.
