Robt Novak, the traitor, .... on Aristide and Kerry

I hope Novak gets thrown in jail. The guy is just an ass.

He's writes last night:
____________

Aristide's allies

WASHINGTON (Creators Syndicate) -- When Sen. John Kerry was interviewed on foreign policy in Houston last Friday by New York Times reporters, he made news by declaring that as president he "would have been prepared to send troops immediately" to save Jean-Bertrand Aristide as president of Haiti.

The newspaper published his statement Sunday, the very day that Aristide's Lavalas gunmen shot more than 25 peaceful demonstrators (five fatally) who were celebrating his departure. Neither Kerry nor Aristide's other supporters in Washington have mentioned the carnage.

(Novak lies here. No report has said that the gunmen were "Aristide's Lavalas gunmen". In fact, they don't know who the gunmen were. The Marines shot one of them, but didn't bother to get to the body, which sounded awful fishy. It seems like they could get to the body to investigate the identity of the gunmen and see what kind of weapon he was using. But, the reports said that the body was not recovered and it was not indicated what kind of weapon it was, although Marines trained in weapons probably knew what kind it was. There was silence in the reports on all this. You could be sure that if it was a Lavalas gunmen, then the U.S. and the opposition and their media would have played that up big time. But, there was complete silence. Now, Novak comes in and LIES and makes this bald assertion. )

Why would the Democratic Party's presumptive presidential nominee vigorously support a tyrant steeped in violence and corruption? Kerry's rationale is that the people twice elected Aristide (though his tainted second election was called fraudulent by independent international observers). An alternative explanation rests with Aristide's gold-plated U.S. connections. He is close to Kerry's influential friends, the Kennedy family of Massachusetts, and is the unconditional favorite of the Congressional Black Caucus.

what an ass Novak is. I hope he is jailed for his complicity on the Plame outing. Such a patriot in assisting law breakers to endanger CIA operatives. And, now he writes, Aristide is "a tyrant steeped in violence and corruption"? Aristide ought to sue the shit out of em for these type of statements.
