Did anyone here about this? :scared:

Spanish police foil big Eta bomb blast in Madrid

Spanish police said yesterday that they had foiled an attempt by the armed Basque separatist group Eta to explode a half-tonne bomb in Madrid. The authorities captured a van full of explosives and its driver as the vehicle headed towards the capital.

The van containing 536kg (1,182lbs) of explosives was stopped as it drove through the eastern Spanish province of Cuenca, on its way from France, Spain's interior minister, Angel Acebes, said. It had been stolen in France and had false Spanish number plates.

Had the bomb exploded, it would have been the biggest attack by the group in more than 30 years of violence, Mr Acebes added. "It would have provoked very grave consequences, causing a massacre."

1. It has been posted here today

The ETA also tried to bomb trains a few months ago. A preponderance of evidence points to the ETA. DU'ers are generally blaming Al-Qaeda but it would almost certainly attack the UK or Australia before Spain.

2. It wasn't the ETA or Al Qaeda!
It was the CIA! Bush decided to do it because he's evil! He has no motives, but who cares! He's evil and we hate him! Let's blame him for everything!

3. what, you mean the ETA exists?
I thought there were no terrorist groups besides the CIA and every single terrorist attack in recent history was done by them, even ones the misadministration has no motives for.

4. You wouldnt know that if you watched US news
which is using the Madrid attack as a pretense to shove the idea of Al Queda down peoples throats, and using the attack as a pretense to warn the Mericuns that they too might be attacked and theres a 90% chance of it..all night long tonight the US news has been using this attack as fodder to promote their own version of why it happened, called it Al Queda, and made it look like we are next
USers who watch the news will just think "Oh dear those bad Al Queda people are attacking Spain and next it will be us" even tho many US citizens couldnt find Spain or Iraq on a map .
And every Republican shill has been on TV tonight using the same shpiel.
TERRA TERRA TERRA
keeps the people afraid, they are even calling it, on TV..."3/11" for Spain.
Question Authority. Question the US media.
