Coloradoans. Predict the outcome of the senate and congressional races.
Ken Salazar will most likely be the nominee. He will go up against Scott McInnis and bitch smack him.

Udall and Degette will hold their seats. Bob Beauprez will loose his seat. McInnis' old seat will go Dem. Joel Hefley will keep his seat. It's Colorado Springs, what do you expect? Marylin Musgrave will sadly keep her seat and unfortunately Tancredo will probably hold his. Pretty good, but you can't win them all. We may have to wait until 2006 to get rid of them.

1. We have some pretty creepy republicans here in CO, don't we?
Good riddance to Beauprez and McInnis. Wish Musgrave's district would wise up and get rid of that angry, holier-than-thou wench. Too bad she doesn't give up her House seat and run against Salazar. She'd get her ass kicked in a statewide election.

2. I've got to agree with you there
Most western Republicans are rather bland or *gasp* moderate. It's you damn giant square states though.... Musgrave, and that uber-bitch from Wyoming... :-)

3. What makes you think Salazar will trash McInnis?
Not that I don't think we can win, but I think it will be hard to beat any republican.

7. Salazar has the Latino vote if he can motivate them to get out for him
Couple that with the Dem and dem-leaning Indy votes and he could easily win. After the Republicans re-drew the voting districts to protect Beauprez's seat (to be thrown out by the high court) that pissed a lot of people off. Turnout may reach record levels, and without the Republican's favored son, our idiot governor, running for the senate seat --Republicans may not be interested enough to galvanize --whereas Dems are VERY motivated. I don't think it matters if it's McInnis, Beauprez, or another GOPer. Besides Owens, no one else is really the hot ticket to beat Salazar.

Colorado has also been attracting a lot more Dems over the years. I moved here from Seattle 6 years ago and have met many other progressives who are new to the state.

4. I'm not from Colorado, but I don't see why McInnis would run
he announced his retirement long before Campbell, meaning he is likely tired of politics in general.

I would love to see Musgrave run and lose to get that evil wench out of her seat. Too bad that ain't likely.
