DU made the NY Post today.
That winger smear article that was bouncing around here yesterday was printed in the NY Post today. We were mentioned by name.

8. NY Post blasted 4 running the suicide of NYU student on its cover
A new low for Post

Blasted for running suicide shot on cover

By MAKI BECKER and ALISON GENDAR
DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITERS

Even Post readers outraged!

A sickening front-page New York Post photo of a coed leaping to her death spurred outrage yesterday from the teen's classmates - and frightened mental health experts, who said the picture could glorify suicide.

NYU students were horrified to see the picture of 19-year-old Diana Chien's Saturday death plunge from the roof of her boyfriend's apartment building.

Why even NY post readers were outraged! I'm not, considering its a rag owned by Rupert Murdoch (FOX).

9. I Wonder If They'll Do A Story About This Thread?

How else to explain Coulter's view that decorated veteran Max Cleland was no more than a bit accident-prone when he lost two legs and an arm in a grenade explosion?

I think the author of this article should explain why Max Cleland was not awarded a Purple Heart for his injuries. If he had gotten his injuries in battle, he would have been awarded a Purple Heart.

You'll regret posting an Ann Coulter thread without also posting a picuture of Ann.

10. Democratic Underground made the Seattle Weekly too
they called it a "left wing" site. I slapped a correction on the writer, but it won't see the light of day. Told him that by journalistic protocol, this is called "progressive" or "Democrat" but calling things either "left wing" or "right wing" indicates a political agenda. Unless, I told him, you consider all Democrats to be "left wing."

This country still has two parties. Some people apparently don't like that.
