The last contenders I have heard were Scott McInnis, Tom Tancredo, and that guy who is the state treasury secratary, but I don't remember his name.

My money is on McInnis. Tancredo is hated by other Republicans and he would get bitch smacked if he ran. I don't know much about the third guy.

On another note, it would be great if Salazar won. The only bad thing is that B.O. would appoint a Republican to take over the rest of the term (two years). But I think that Salazar could take any of them on hands down. What do you think.

Ok, I can dream, can't I? I think McInnis would probably be their guy, but I don't know why you sat that Tancredo is hated. What about my upstanding Representative, Joel Hefley (gag)?

Edited for punctuation. Question marks are a pain, aren't they.

2. Tancredo raised a stink about Bush's immigration policies...
...in 2002. KKKarl Rove called Tancredo, yelled at him and told him never to darken the door of the whitehouse again. Then at a repuke fundraiser in Colorado, Bush introduced all of the CO Republicans except Tancredo. Tancredo sent a letter out to people in his district which was very anti-Bush, in regards to social security for immigrants. I think that he is to the right of Bush. He is hated by many in his party.
