Thank you Texas Democrats
I just heard you voted down that Texas Rep. Wilson who sided with the Repubs in their nasty redistricting plan. Ha! And Wilson thought he was safe since he had that seat for the last thirty years.

The new Democratic Rep. Allen is running unopposed in the November GE, so that will be a safe seat.

Goodbye Wilson, next time remember to dance with the team that brought you to the dance.

5. State house
He was one of two house Dems that did not stand up against redistricting. Actually, he said it was a great thing for Texas. He was also the only minority supporter at the Texas trail to support the plan.

3. It is a very happy day here
US Rep Doggett also won. I just worry that this will cause DeLay and crew to try to redistrict again, because they really want to get rid of Doggett.

12. Our job
So our job is to work even harder to elect dems to the state
legislature this fall.

With only ten or eleven more dems, we could get a lot done.

With more wins, we could even do our own redistricting!

I'm guessing he hopes voters forget when he's up for re-election...I'm guessing we won't.

Wish I could have done more, but I was happy to go to my first precinct caucus.

Keep sending money and support to Richard Morrison and we won't have to worry about DeLay either!

Morrison won his primary, and has been endorsed by the Houston Chronicle. He also has the support of tons of Dean and Clark supporters from all over the place (not just Texas).
