Anyone have a link to this cartoon about marriage as an unchanging...
... institution?

It quoted Bush when he said "After more than two centuries of American jurisprudence, and millennia of human experience, a few judges and local authorities are presuming to change the most fundamental institution of civilization."

Then it showed one of the "founding fathers" saying "marriage has always been a contract between a man and his chattel..."

The it showed someone from the 1950s saying "marriage has always been a contract between a man and a woman of the same race..."

Etc.

I think I saw it on Working for Change's web site (http://www.workingforchange.com/index.cfm), but I can't find it there now.

Anyone remember it? Anyone have a link to it?

4. Thanks, that's it! Didn't see it there earlier. The "Yoosta Bees" one..
... was the latest. They must have just updated the archives.

I thought it was Tom Tomorrow!

2. Don't Know Why It's Not Archived There
Maybe they haven't gotten around to it yet...usually the old cartoons are achived on that site and I believe if you are a Salon subscriber they are available there. The cartoon you refer to is in the current issue of L.A. Weekly, if you want to email me your address I'll send that page to you!
