Why didn't * and Pickles give blood? Everyone else did.

After 911 Clinton gave blood. Gore drove down from Canada, gave blood and went to NY city. But,
In white house photo ops of Pickles asking for blood donations, neither her nor W gave any.
Could they have some STD, or other blood related illness that they could NOT donate without it coming out? Maybe drug related.
Any other thoughts?

I was deferred for a year after visiting Costa Rica. I didn't engage in any "risky behaviors" there -- there was a concern about mosquito-borne illness.
