Cokie Roberts of NPR
Bush: "Better for him to talk about foreign policy" "Inchoate" sense of leadership

Kerry: "Tough" for him..."trying" to raise money..."deadline driven"

Smug creep - she has that supercilious snottiness which always begins to creep up your spine - she reminds me of a Junior College English Prof. Insecure in their achievements so they become most deliberative and precise in their speech. All the while, she vomits out the word "Democrats" as in: "These -Democrats- THINK that they have a handle blah blah blah, but the PRESIDENT (word almost sung (unless it was President Clinton)) will probably succeed blah blah blah."

...and Bob Edwards from supposedly liberal NPR never aggressively follows up her puerile 'analysis'. Sheesh. No wonder the movement's in trouble.

1. Cokie's been humbled
Just like the rest of the whores. Their "popular president" turned out to be a liar and a loser.

I also hate the way she makes predictions, none of which ever come true. Why this no-talent birdbrain is allowed to remain on the air is beyond me. She contributes nothing and I mean absolutely nothing of substance to the national debate.

6. Connections, connections, connections
she comes from a well-established family of political insiders. However, her lineage is from the progressive side. How she wound up where she is is beyond me. I would be ashamed of her if she were my relation.

5. My take on her is that she was co-opted
during the 1st Bush Administration and was so clearly upset that she lost her contacts in the White House that she could never forgive Clinton. what's more, whe married an influential guy...but Hillary married a more influential guy and Cokie was just jealous and catty. hard to believe that her Dad was such a clever guy, and I actually knew here sister personally (slightly) 'cause she was the mayor of Princeton for years - we lived close by. She was a decent gal...

This one must have been the black sheep of the family.

11. The only thing worse than a whore...
... is a whore with a thin veneer of respectability.

Broadcast on a network (NPR) who is resting on past laurels of fair journalism. Too bad there are still so many who can't see NPR for what it has become.

18. Hope she gets "outsourced" after Kerry wins in 2004
Perhaps an Indian newscaster who will get paid $7,600 per year instead of her millions per year and who will actually make sense instead of being a smug, sarcastic little creep.

19. I will NEVER forget her on Letterman shortly after 9/11
She's yakking and then she says "and the President's approval numbers are 85%! How about that, huh?" And then she starts wagging her hands, trying to get the audience to applaud the president and his numbers. She thought it was a big applause line. (I can't remember the exact figure).

It was the most OUTRAGEOUS whoring - she was a like a cheerleader for the right. Mary Matlin could not have done a better job. I will never pay attention to her again ever.
