I think they'll set up one person to be fired, and that person will be quietly pardoned when Bush leaves office (hopefully in Jan of 2005!)

Edited on Sun Mar-07-04 06:37 PM by La_Serpiente
Novak, "Crossfire," "Capital Gang" and the Chicago Sun-Times

Knut Royce and Timothy M. Phelps, Newsday

Walter Pincus, Richard Leiby, Mike Allen, Dana Priest and Glenn Kessler, The Washington Post

Matthew Cooper, John Dickerson, Massimo Calabresi, Michael Duffy and James Carney, Time magazine

Evan Thomas, Newsweek

Andrea Mitchell, "Meet the Press," NBC

Chris Matthews, "Hardball," MSNBC

Tim Russert, Campbell Brown, NBC

Nicholas D. Kristof, David E. Sanger and Judith Miller, The New York Times

Greg Hitt and Paul Gigot, The Wall Street Journal

John Solomon, The Associated Press

Jeff Gannon, Talon News

Jeff Gannon? Isn't he the journalist that posts at Free Republic? Here is his website.

http://www.jeffgannon.com/

He is the one who asked the totally awkward question about John Kerry to Scott McClellan.

6. that's him - more info:
http://www.webdems.blogspot.com/

The Talon reporter assigned to cover the White House is Jeff Gannon, whose product from this plum position is a one-minute daily webcast on Talon's site and a weekly broadcast over the radiofreerepublic.com network. Freerepublic.com is the faded home-base of the Clinton haters; a message board where some dirty tricks against liberals are hatched (the recent bogus photo of Kerry and Fonda originated there) and a whole lot of blind Bush-kissing continues. Freerepublic's shrill, extremist rallies in Washington attract only a handful of people.

Talon News Service is obviously a silly and kooky wannabe outfit. And yet a precious seat in the fourth row of the White House briefing room is Gannon's. He boasts on freerepublic about asking questions designed to elicit "gasps" from the real correspondents.

17. hahahahahah!
I emailed that fat, bald prick, responding to an idiotic rant he wrote at his website

he returned, saying something like he doesn't respond to negative emails, at which point....he responded!

har

so I sent him this, including your above description

Slim,

I could care less what you think, except for the fact that you somehow got a seat at WH press briefings. how in the world did THAT happen?

threaten to release those 'frolicky' pix with your galpal, Ari?

AFA "beating my head against a wall," that's almost as funny as your, uh, "columns." this took about a half minute to type

one last.....so you'll know what people from planet Earth think about your delusional maunderings:

"The Talon reporter assigned to cover the White House is Jeff Gannon, whose product from this plum position is a one-minute daily webcast on Talon's site and a weekly broadcast over the radiofreerepublic.com network. hahahahahahahahha; he's wearing a hat now, covering up his complete chromedome

I know.....superficial is, as......

cannot stand this worm

here's why

read this bit of dementia; just a snip for the weak of stomach:

Who would Osama Vote For?

I was wondering who the average terrorist would be inclined to vote for given today’s choices.

Some of the fanatically Mecca-minded would have to give serious thought to Howard Dean. After all, he is the one candidate that has been against the Iraqi war (which by decry and default is part of the War on Terror – always has been) since the beginning. He has been outspoken in his opposition to its funding and he wouldn’t hesitate to get out of the Middle East all together, given the chance. From the terrorist vantage point Dean would be a great person to have in the White House. He would be unlikely to intervene in anything considered terrorist and would likely turn to the UN in the event another terrorist strike were to bring down every building in the US taller than the cave entrances of today’s al Qaeda strongholds.

Edited on Sun Mar-07-04 07:00 PM by buycitgo
not talking about impeachment hearings (pre or during)

didn't he raise his hand and swear, etc?

or am I just imagining?

Point is, how COOL would it be to have those cretes do that, and have it televised?

they don't do that in grand juries, though, do they?

23. what is shocking is
the amount of names on this list.
it denotes an Extensive! campaign against Wilson/Plame.

They made us think it was just said in passing conversation, no big deal... to novak and a few others.
This list makes one sit up and take notice! this really really Really is Something! Then add this to the rest of the pieces of bushco trouble making (include howie stern:) and total dedication to stifle ALL disent... all of which is truly old Soviet/totalitarian dictatorship types of actions.

The difference between us and the old soviet peoples is that the people of the USSR KNEW their Governement was LYING out its ASS! Americans are huddled in the dark under their beds, trying like crazy not to connect the Bushco dots of lying... americans
want to believe thier government.
Hopefully they are awakening now.

I hate that reThuggee-Mafia for what they ahve done to america.

26. This is different than all the other scandals.
We are talking a major case of treason that is a direct threat to national security. This scandal is far worse in that regard than Watergate or Iran-Contra.

I just wonder, even as serious as it is, whether a government with a Legislative, Executive and Judiciary run by cons will impeach the bastard.

28. Dubya would have to lose the appeal to his conviction...
before Congress could muster up enough votes to impeach him. But it's so gratifying to know that this scandal does go all the way to the top. I used to think this was just Cheney run amok, but if Air Force One telephone records are being subpoenaed, there's NO WAY Dubya didn't get his hands dirty.
