2. What I like, is that JK looks to be
way tougher as a candidate than Gore or Dukakis. Which he will need to be to run against Rove slime.

Look at the early responses to Roveslime. Could the whole business of the ridiculous Drudgesmear have been handled any better? I think not. And the whole business of the 9/11 scenes in shrub's commercials is beautiful--make HIM get on the defensive with the topic he was going on the offensive with! Serves notice that we are not conceding ANYTHING! And the campaign stops in TX are further evidence of that.

What I really, really like about JK (and I was seriously not happy with IWR resolution votes etc.) is that he is a tough, veteran campaigner who seems to know how to get it done.

I don't know anything about his campaign people, but so far they look to be WAY better than Estrich and whoever ran Gore's campaign.

3. You really have to keep in mind that JFK has the benefit
of hindsight because he knows how Gore was slimed 24/7 by the media and that a coup happened in 2000. Who ever could have predicted those things in 1999 and 2000 (although we probably should have known something was up because of the Contract on America and the repukes drive to impeach Clinton)?

4. also i remember
we were not supportive of gore in a zillion of ways. and for reason and for not reason. a big difference kerry has opportunity for being real........more this time around than gore did. he had an impossible situation all the way thru. so we could say he ran a lousy campaign, but we the people, all the people made damn sure he had a lousy campaign, so i ask you

was it really him

after thought, lol lol
