Will a trial of Saddam Hussein happen during the election?

I'm more than a little nervous over this one. That it could go on during the campaign.

...Right now Saddam is completely gagged by the administration and the military which serves their best interests. We have no idea what his side of the story is. Even if he lies, letting the American public hear directly from Hussein's own lips, through interpretors, reporters, legal system or whatever, we could at least judge for ourselves what the truth might be. As it now stands, Saddam Hussein is nothing but images on our Orwellian screens as we receive distorted, manipulated, fair and balanced information that the administration wants Americans to believe.
