I want to thank all of you for educating me in the Art of Battle against the opposing political party! There may be times that I am wrong when debating a fellow Liberal, but I gotta say, I am nearly never wrong when taking on a Republican.

4. I too want to thank DU and everyone that makes it possible

and all those who contribute so much overwhelming knowledge. I'm far from brilliant but you have helped me greatly in trying gently to encourage my family, extended family and friends to watch, listen, and THINK about things that are going on. Well, it has started to pay off big time. My 9 yr old granddaughter, when she had to take the F-CAT test (and having some knowledge re: Jeb's policies on education in Fla.), said "Grandma, you were right! Don't vote for George or Jeb. They are bad for our schools". My son-in-law, who would not discuss politics said this morning he voted for * and was for the war but now realizes we are headed in a lot of wrong directions on sooooo many issues.
I also appreciate very much the camaraderie and prayers to those who need them and the exchange of ideas.

with du weTHEpeople are a FORMIDABLE MACHINE that the lamestream media folks CAN'T compete with.

they have become LAZY and FRAGMENTED. we are FOCUSED and have LONG, IDEPENDANT, MEMORIES that makes it EASY to expose them when you are spreading the word between family, friends and co-workers.

i have always felt that du is one of the most formidable 'think tanks' ANYWHERE and i am now convinced after almost 3 years of witnessing how INFRONT and ONTOP of the issues DU is that it is a FACT.

i still wish we all could vote/rate every post - not just the topic - we read to make it even easier for us to research, believe it or not sometimes i am too busy to enjoy all the wonderful humor on here ;->

I just signed up after months of watching and learning from the vigorous debates that go on between such intelligent folks. It is such a stark contrast to the dittoheads of Rush that won't allow opposing viewpoints into the debate ...
