I see him moving more towards the middle to pick up moderates and then going back to the far right once the election is over (if he wins). His first TV commercials are kind of warm and fuzzy instead of the "Kill the fags and Commie protesters" kind of thing. I know he'll be attacking Kerry a lot, but do you think he'll try to come across as a "compassionate conservative" again?
4. Busboy's a front man and will do as asked for as long as necessary,
I doubt if he will do anything remotely close to "presidential" while flying around on Air Force one, raising bucks and working the re-selection. I just hope the Congress will take the opportunity to whip his party around a little to remind them there's a country to run. Leader my ass.
6. He'll start by pretending everything he's done is moderate
They'll run glossy empty headed ads showing him is soft light with waving flags. When they determine that is not picking him up any ground he'll move steadily to the right to invigorate the right wing base.
And of course, if elected, he'll immediately return to his usual uber-right self.
