The media moguls would have us believe that because Janet Jackson bared a nipple for a minute on national television we are experiencing a crackdown on immoral or "inappropriate" media, ie. Howard Stern after he blasted Bush or Ted Rall for his continuous cartoon assaults on Bush in the NYT.
The reason the FCC is really being put into censoratorial high gear is because the Democrats have chosen their candidate and the General Election is about to start. The FCC has become a political tool of the Republican Party and is now being used to stamp out any strong opposition to Bush and his fascists.
