Katie Couric just told Kristin Breitweiser and Mindy Kleinberg to
keep "us updated on the 911 Commission." I thought about throwing something at the screen, but refrained.

Gee,excuse me Katie, why should these women have to keep the TODAY show updated on a commission?

Maybe if the media whore NBC was closlely covering the commission and its activities, you wouldn't have to depend on these women.

Jesus H. Christ.

This country is just unbelievable.

3000 people murdered, the &*(*&&^%^&^ news whores spend more time on Kobe Bryant than why 911 happened.

God, there are days.....

1. They're too busy
covering what their prime time shows did the night before to care. These shows can't be considered "news" by any stretch of the imagination.

3. Cut Katie Couric some slack....she is on our side most of the time
Did you see how she grilled the bush mouthpiece on the 911 advert? She deserves credit for standing up to the bush apologists.

9. Yeah, she's our person there
Freepers hate her. That means she's got a lot of redeeming qualities.

:bounce:

Her sister, who died of cancer a few years ago, was the chairperson of the Virginia Democratic party. They looked remarkably alike.

4. Don't forget
They have to keep us constantly updated on The Peterson Trial, The Martha Stewart Trial, and The Michael Jackson Case as well.

Give them a break already! There's only so much time in a day for real news that might actually affect the lives of real people. They're doing the best they can under the circumstances.
;-)

5. Lester....The first day of jury selection in the Scott Peterson case....
They cut right to Lester Holt (and his deep voice) to UPDATE us on the ever improtant Scott Peterson case

:eyes:

I saw that too I wanted one of them to say "Uh.....aren'tYOU supposed to keep US updated? Is anything we just said here (W and Dick only give "an hour of their time"..."that is about 2 seconds per life lost") news to your viewers?

ONe of the women (lost her sister) had no problem with W using 9-11 images. I thought that was, dare I say, fair and balanced. The ladies who lost their lives did a very good job of pointing out the stonewalling that W has done.

7. My Sentiments Exactly
WTF??? I don't think most Americans even know (or care) that we have a 9/11 commission! It's just absurd.

The wives made some great points, however, and I hope lots of people were paying attention.

CBS also had some wives on with the same story.

WAKE UP AMERICA.

8. That "interview" was right on script
My wife was amazed because I told her what was about to be said next, and even when they'd cue the video...bingo, right on! Katie's FIRST comment to them was about "...but didn't Bill Clinton allow..."

The power play is on for Bush. That $200,000,000 is going to be greasing a lot of media palms.
