It's time for Donna Brazil to step down as our unofficial spokesperson!
She was poor on CNN this morning. Her answers were weak, especially when asked why Bush should remove his 9/11 ad.

1. What did she say about the 9/11 ad?
No CNN here. Details, please.

2. She ran the worst campaign in modern history
I don't know why anyone considers her an expert on politics.

4. Donna should retire from politics
After the 2000 selection, she stabbed Al Gore in the back acting
as though he "lost" the election all by himself. I haven't been
able to stand her since then.

7. Don't you know, that's the only reason they let her on these shows -
because she is so weak. If you want to see a really sorry spectacle, watch her on when she goes up against Bay Buchanan - Bay literally wipes up the floor with her. Very sad indeed. She needs to retire and find a new occupation, cause politics isn't it.

6. Donna Brazile
I've always thought she was an ineffectual campaign manager for Gore (duh!). I sense that she is more concerned with being a Washington insider and media star. She is more than ineffective paired with Bay Buchanan on CNN. She only wants to play nicey-nice with the powers-that-be so she can continue to have a role as a media star. She lacks a backbone or any coherent principles that I can discern.

13. Up the Annti
She has been weak for some time now. I don't understand why the Dems have so much trouble finding articulate spokespeople. Geez, some of the people on DU could do a far better job.

Ann Lewis is a lot better than Donna.

O

14. I think her heart's totally in the right place
but I agree she's awful going up against the Repugs on tv. I watched her Tuesday on CNN with some Repug motor mouth guy. She was a total wimp. When the interviewer asked her a question she got about three words out and the Repug guy started interrupting, "Donna, Donna, Donna, Donna...." He just kept on until she shut up. Then he continued blabbing until the end of the segment and she just sat there.

I wanted to throw something at the tv.

16. They invite her because she is a "reasonable black woman"
Edited on Fri Mar-05-04 04:07 AM by SoCalDem
a "three-fur".

1.black
2.female
3.obedient and polite

Does anyone think for a minute, that Maxine Waters would be as "acceptable" to the management??

The repube "spokespeople" are allowed (and even expected) to be LOUD..abrasive..obnoxious..you name it..but the dem spokespeople we see presented are usually "polite..thoughful..patient..etc".. It only re-inforces the "image" that the media has tagged us with..

The dem party is though to be:

"elite"-"educated"-"wonk-ish"-"detail oriented"....in other words..weak, ineffective,and too prone to think a problem through..

The repubes have taken on the mantle of ACTION..AGRESSIVE pre-emption..COWBOY mentality.."Go-Get-'Em" attitude...

We are the yin to their yan, but it's no accident that a whole generation has been spoon-fed action-action-action-agression-agression-agression...

Where our spokespeople are more likely to want to discuss the underlying problems of any issue, THEIR side just wants to get the guns and get the rope...and ride ...

In a 30 second response, which is more "effective"???

The powers that be do not really want a resolution to any conflict.. they want the conflict to continue..

19. Someone who corresponds regularly on the e-mail with KKKarl
Shouldn't be considered an unofficial spokesman for the Democratic Party and has no business presenting himself or herself as one. Put someone genuine up there to represent us
