Joe Lieberman needs to keep his advice to himself
There is a story in LBN about Lieberman admonishing both parties not to go negative in their campaigns.

Wonder if he read this:

LOS ANGELES - President Bush took his first direct swings at Democratic rival John Kerry on Wednesday, painting the Massachusetts senator as a candidate who would raise taxes and go soft on terrorism.

On a fund-raising sprint through California the day after Kerry won the state’s primary and secured his place as the Democratic presidential nominee, Bush uttered his rival’s name for the first time in a sharpened, partisan speech that previously had only vague allusions to Kerry.

“My opponent says he approves of bold actions in the world, but only if other countries don’t object,” the Republican incumbent told about 600 donors to his re-election campaign.

Earlier in the day, Bush sought to win over voters by focusing on the compassionate side of his “compassionate conservative” agenda.

1. Don't worry
After the "success" Lieberman just had in his own campaign, I don't think too many people will be lining up to get his campaign advice.

4. That's pretty odd, since his campaign was the most negative
of them all. Maybe he's learned something. I think people are more interested in what a candidate is going to do to make things better rather than getting a litany on the opposition's short comings. We already know what a disgusting failure Boosh is so we don't need to listen to a whole lot of negativity except for some memory refreshers.

8. No, Joe's learned nothing new
He's always provided cover for Repubs with ill-timed appeals for non-partisanship. I could've strangled him when he finally got around to issuing Enron subpeonas, and he used the occasion to lecture Democrats about not turning the situation into a business witchhunt.

6. Get Used To It.
Jealous Joe can't help himself.

This will happen over and over until the election.

He must be smarting seeing that Howard Dean got more votes than he did in his own state of Connecticut.

"We, the RNC Chairman and Mr. Bush, and the DNC Chairman and myself, have had a further meeting today and are agreed in recognizing that the question of Rebublican-Democratic relations is of the first importance for our two parties and for the United States. We regard the agreement signed last night and the Republican-Democratic 'Fair Campaign Practices' Agreement as symbolic of the desire of our two parties never to besmirch one another again.

"We are resolved that the method of consultation shall be the method adopted to deal with any other questions that may concern our two parties, and we are determined to continue our efforts to remove possible sources of difference, and thus to contribute to assure the survival of our nation."

P.S. ...and we all know how that worked out...
